Selkirk Luxx Control Air Invikta with InfiniGrit

Introducing the new and improved LUXX Control Air, now with InfiniGrit Surface Technology for 3x longer-lasting spin than raw carbon paddles. It’s the same ultimate control players know and love from the LUXX paddle, but with more spin, more power (without sacrificing control), and updated aerodynamic performance.

Try the LUXX Control Air with InfiniGrit to experience a new way to control the game.

The LUXX Control Air quickly became a player favorite, utilizing the innovations of the LABS Project 003 to serve players looking for the ultimate control paddle.

This paddle went against the grain in the pickleball industry, focusing on amplifying control and precision versus pure power. The reviews backed up our observation – the majority of players wanted help keeping the ball in bounds, placing it strategically to orchestrate wins instead of relying on brute force. The LUXX Control Air did exactly that.

Selkirk have been ALL IN on pickleball for over a decade. That means they are never complacent, so even though the LUXX Control Air is popular, they still wanted to find improvements.

Feedback from players about the previous version of the LUXX paddle was a desire for longer-lasting spin and a thought that “ultimate control” was at the expense of all power.

The LUXX Control Air with InfiniGrit takes the popularity of the player-friendly LUXX Control Air, but enhances it with additional spin durability and slightly more power.

The two main upgrades from the previous LUXX Control Air:

• 3x longer-lasting spin: The InfiniGrit Surface has triple the durability of raw carbon paddles with enhanced spin potential, allowing players to achieve up to 2,000 RPMs for more precise shots.

• Ultimate control, but with more power: The 19mm X7 Thikset Honeycomb Core (1mm thinner than the prior version) and EVA foam in the throat and handle combine to produce additional power. Don’t worry, this additional power is not at the expense of any control.

InfiniGrit Surface for 3x Spin Durability

The InfiniGrit Surface technology triples the durability of traditional embossed epoxy peel-ply texture raw carbon surfaces while significantly enhancing spin potential, allowing players to achieve up to 2,000 RPMs for more precise and controlled shots. This advanced surface ensures consistent performance and a competitive edge, even during extended play.

EVA Foam Handle and Throat for Less Vibrations and More Flex

Updated from the previous LUXX Control Air (which had a hollow handle), the injected EVA foam in the throat and handle dampen vibrations from impact, while providing more flexibility for increased power.

Florek Carbon Fiber for More Control

Florek Carbon Fiber is our proprietary blend of carbon fiber that offers unmatched control and added power. This superior fiber composition also enables a larger sweet spot, ensuring optimal performance on every stroke.

X7 Thikset Honeycomb Core for Maximum Sweet Spot

The innovative 19mm X7 Thikset Honeycomb Core offers players even more control and power. The core’s maximum sweet spot is further enhanced by the honeycomb construction, which provides a more consistent feel on every shot.

360° Proto Molding for Power and Consistency

LUXX Control Air with InfiniGrit’s 360° Proto Molding technology delivers exceptional power and a consistent feel on every hit thanks to its high-pressure manufacturing process.

Aero-DuraEdge Edgeless Technology for Durability and Maneuverability

The Aero-DuraEdge Edgeless technology, crafted from our specialty blend of impact-resistant composites and polymer, ensures increased edge reliability during intense gameplay.

FlexFoam Perimeter to Add Weight and Enlarge the Sweet Spot

Originally developed in Selkirk LABS in the 002 paddle, FlexFoam Perimeter technology injects a specially formulated foam across the paddle's entire perimeter to increase durability, add weight, enlarge the sweet spot, and absorb vibrations from every hit.

CM Anti-Torque Technology for Added Stability

Our CM Anti-Torque Technology features an ideal core thickness and mass placement, helping to avoid twisting on off-center shots for a smoother playing experience.

Updated Wing Design Air Dynamic Throat for Quicker Swing Speed

Developed in Selkirk LABS during Project 002 and further optimized for Project 007, the Air Dynamic Throat features an updated wing design that enhances airflow, enabling faster swing speeds and improved ball control. This fine-tuned design maximizes flex, allowing players to generate power while maintaining precise shot placement.
